Sustainable Development in Communities project
Project Details:
- Duration: A minimum of 8 weeks is required (adaptable).
- Ecology / Agriculture / Sustainable Development / Human Rights / Nutrition / Preventive Health / Psychology / Community Organization
- Work Location: Communities around the city of Huancayo, Mantaro Valley, Central Andes, Peru.
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday; work hours depend on conditions.
- Responsibilities: Support the implementation of organic and ecological practices, such as the creation of organic gardens, the construction of ecological kitchens, reforestation, planting and replanting, soil preparation, organic pest management, composting, the production of natural products (jams, cheeses, etc.), sustainable business practices, emotional support, legal support, and the defense of the human rights of residents, among others.
Requirements:
- Anyone interested in and committed to caring for and respecting the environment and infrastructure.
- Regarding socio-emotional and economic intervention, we welcome students or professionals in psychology, law, political science, philosophy, anthropology, human resources, business administration and management, sociology, occupational therapy, social work, social education, among others.
- *Minimum age of 20 years (applications from candidates under 20 will be considered based on the maturity and level of responsibility required for the position).

- Be committed and responsible, and comply with the basic rules of coexistence in the accommodation and common areas where they will be staying.
